WARNING: This review might be rather bias!

Road Trip Adventure had to be one of my favourite games growing up as a kid.

It’s among the bunch of games that I could jump into now and still know all of it’s secrets.

As a wee boy, I had plenty Hot Wheels cars and I’d create a universe for them all, give them names, jobs and personalities.

So you could say this was the game I was always dreaming about.

Road Trip Adventure isn’t at all your conventional car game, not in the slightest.
I’d classing more as an Open World Racing RPG but I don’t believe that portrays the depth of this game.

You’re a car.
You’re a weird, squashed looking car, modeled of those we see in real life.
You have a name and a goal.
And that goal is to become president!

To do this you must win race after race until you win them all and earn your super A licence and thus in turn your presidency.

Ofcourse, being the mash up genre this title is, this only scratches the surface of things to do in this game.

You meet several other cars on your journey (of course by meeting I mean either driving full speed into them or by smashing through the doors of their house), each of them having their own problem or something to tell you.

And occasionally you find cars that want to build property in a new city, one that you help advertise so that it can be vastly populated by all manner of quirky buildings and mini games.

As you aid cars, collect items or complete other tasks, you’re rewarded with stamps, with plenty to collect it’s great for a little achievement system.

I could try all I like to explain this game but really, seeing is believing.

Find what ever way you can to play, because if you’d love it half as much as I do, it’ll be worth it.

Well maybe worth it until you experience what the physics engine has to offer you, but hey, it just add comedic value.

Pick this game up where you can, find the original or it’s available on the Playstation Store for the Europeans.
