EGX 2014: Bloodborne

The demo which I loved the most this year at EGX was Sony’s Bloodborne. After only ever watching Dark Souls game play, this was a new gaming experience for me when I finally got my long awaited turn on it.

One of the first things I loved was the clutter. Now I am a very neat and tidy person, but the clutter that lined the streets and alleyways felt so right.  It added to the whole experience and felt like I was in an abandoned city.

When I first encountered an enemy, I was totally out maneuvered, out skilled and was left lying on the cold cobble street. This was obviously due to my lack of experience in the Dark Souls games. It took me a little while to get used to the combat, but that only enhanced my celebrations when I finally killed an enemy.

All in all I really enjoyed the experience and it’ll definitely be a game I purchase, I hope you all give it a go too.
